Una de las canciones menos conocidas de The Beatles, grabada en parte este día hace 41 años, justo 7 dias después de lanzar el Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. John llegó a Abbey Road con la idea de una canción con una sola linea…’You know my name look up the number‘ y eso es todo. Total improvisación. contando con la participación de Brian Jones de los Rolling Stones en un solo de Saxo. En 1969 John la rescató del olvido y la editó. Terminó siendo el lado B del disco de sencillo de “Let it Be” en 1970. Tambien aparece en los Past Masters. Los invito a que la escuchen. Me gusta demasiado, Los Beatles afortunadamente hacian lo que les daba la gana.

Sabrá el putas que es el Indie pop-avant-garde, (intentaré averiguar de eso) pero esta es una banda muy muy buena y todo el mundo deberia conocerla. es Architecture in Helsinki y llevo poco menos de un mes escuchando toda su musica y me parece genial. gracias a Spaceboy. Este es el video de “It 5” una canción que dan ganas de estar animado.

Ojalá así fuera

Navegando por ahí, me encuentro con el reciente blog de un casi colega mexicano (digo casi porque yo no me he graduado ¬¬) que hizo la bondad de traducir el dialogo de un video del famoso director Robert Rodriguez (…) hablando sobre cine, y lo hace ver tan facil, juepucha!, el enseñó a hacer cine en 10 minutos…pero bueno, es una manera muy “a lo guerrilla” pero valida, que le da a uno mucho animo para seguir con proyectos relacionados con el cine, sin depender o no de convocatorias, que ayudan, pero aceptemoslo, no son para todos. 
Todo esto me hizo acordar de Four Eyed Monsters, producida por una pareja de amigos en la USA, y todavia deben los $100.000 dolares que les costó hacerla, es el primer largo que se ha subido completo a internet y se puede descargar GRATIS. Veanla!, son de admirar.
Conozco gente a la que leer ese texto le causará un gran revolcón estomacal. cito un fragmento del texto:
